Household Energy Savings Upgrades
Households can access up-front discounts on energy-efficient air conditioners through the Energy Savings Scheme. The savings are applied directly by approved installers, so there’s no need to claim later.
VIC
Victorian Energy Upgrade
The Victorian Energy Upgrades program offers significant discounts on efficient reverse-cycle heating and cooling systems. Discounts are only available when using accredited providers.
QLD
PeakSmart Air - conditioning Cashback
Homeowners can earn up to $400 with the PeakSmart reward for installing demand-response compatible air conditioners. Businesses may also access rebates for efficient cooling through the QBEST program.
SA
Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme
The Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme delivers discounts and incentives on efficient appliances, including air conditioners, via participating energy retailers. You must go through an approved provider.
WA
Air Conditioning Rebate (Senergy/ Horizon Power)
An air conditioning rebate provides ongoing operating cost support for eligible households in high-heat regions. Permanent residents in caravan parks may also qualify.
ACT
Home Energy Support Program
Residents can apply for low-interest loans under the Sustainable Household Scheme to install efficient cooling systems. Concession-card holders may qualify for zero-interest finance.
